Who We Are

Zen Shack Studios is a family-run design studio based in the Hollywood Hills. We create sculptural concrete furniture that is functional, comfortable, and surprisingly lightweight.

Our Process

Each piece is individually hand-cast using steel-reinforced, desert-sourced concrete. A refined blend of volcanic featherock, sand, and cement gives our work strength with vast weight reductions.

Our process balances structural rigor with organic form, resulting in furniture & sculptures that are grounded yet effortless.

Drawing from Japanese garden design, mid-century modernism, and California’s desert landscapes, our work embodies timelessness and permanence.
